Evans Town Center Park is located in Columbia County, Georgia. The park contains a fountain in the northwest corner that creates a pedestrian gateway to the park from the existing government facility complex. From the fountain, a formal tree lined esplanade leads your eye to a multi-purpose pavilion at the opposite end of the park. The pavilion is the focal point of a large open lawn seating area. On either side of the esplanade, a open lawn space is provided for passive and recreational activities. The lawn to west is large enough to hold a championship size soccer fi eld. A playground is located near the smaller lawn space. An additional pedestrian gateway is located in northeastern corner of the park and invites visitors from the mixed use development located just across the road. Trails wind through the park and create a relaxing atmosphere as the pedestrian passes by the various amenities the park has to offer. All parking areas are located on the perimeter of the park to the south and southwest, and appropriate drop off locations are also provided.
