cogburn park

Cogburn Road Community Park is a 4 acre park developed on Cogburn road in north Alpharetta. The passive park is developed on a parcel of land that was at one time used as a staging site for the construction of an adjacent home center. During the construction an area of specimen trees were protected and subsequently integrated into the design of the park.

The program for the development includes a restroom, parking, two picnic shelters, an area for a playground and a 12’ wide pedestrian path established around the perimeter of the park. jB+a Park Design Studio designed the park working with Black and Veatch under an on demand contract with the City of Alpharetta to provide final concept development as well as landscape and site amenity development. jB+a also produced construction documents for park implementation
