barrett and jamestown parks

jB+a produced construction documents and provided construction observation for the renovation of Barrett and Jamestown Parks in College Park. Improvements to both parks include the construction of 8’ wide tumbled paver paths on both parks, the installation of several pavilion structures, grills, benches, lighting and an upgrade to the existing playgrounds and landscaping. Adjacent to Jamestown Park, a multi-use field and parking are planned on approximately 3 acres of land. The development at Barrett Park includes the construction of modular block walls with integrated seating surrounding the existing tennis courts, providing both viewing areas for the courts as well as a solution to erosion problems.
