sandy plains senior living facility

Sandy Springs Senior Living Facility was designed as a 97,000 s.f. +/- building containing about 100 units. Situated on a site that slopes away from the road and with only one existing curb cut allowable, posed several challenges to the site plan. First, the building would be three to four stories in the rear. Second, the building would have to be arranged to allow for a detention area at the low part of the site. Finally, the one existing curb cut was at the edge of the site. This constraint demanded that the building be pushed to the back of the site while the other constraints dictated moving the building closer to the road. After several schemes, a final plan was developed and used for rezoning hearings. jB+a provided site planning, renderings and rezoning services for the project.
