In the 1970’s one of the hottest singles communities in Atlanta was Riverbend Apartments. Many Atlantans’ remember the parties, raft races and fun at Riverbend located along the Chattahoochee River at the intersection of Powers Ferry and Akers Mill Roads. Julian LeCraw & Co. Inc. has renovated this active apartment community. Jon Benson’s memories of the 70’s returned as he toured the facility and began the design for the large main swimming pool situated next to the river. The design by jB+a modifies the pool shape in the existing shell, changes the pool deck and adds a new shade trellis. The new gated entrance features stone walls and wrought iron fencing.
