Marian Pointe is a 24-unit multi-family community located in downtown Griffin, Georgia. An historic landmark, the building had fallen into total disrepair. Cooperative Resource Center, whose aim is to provide affordable housing in rural areas, called on jB+a to assist in converting the older facility to a modern senior living center. Utilizing funding from Department of Community Affairs, CRC asked jB+a to provide hardscape construction drawings for several features around the site. The unique courtyard was fenced and individual raised garden plots were developed for the residents. The courtyard also features a covered picnic pavilion and seating. jB+a also provided complete planting plans for the entire site.
