atlanta metropolitan college

Located along the Metropolitan Parkway corridor in southwest Atlanta, Atlanta Metropolitan College is a two-year urban, commuter campus with an enrollment of 2,000 students. The campus is located on 67 acres which it shares with Atlanta Technical School. The college commissioned jB+a to design a dedicated entrance to the campus to support the future physical growth of the campus. Due to the classification of the project as a transportation enhancement, the project was funded through the Georgia State Department TEE Program. The improvements include a grand site entrance with monumental brick signage, ornamental fencing, landscaping, accent lighting and irrigation. jB+a worked with the college through the entire process for funding procurement to construction administration.
